3 credits. 75-90 minutes. In this study, you will complete a managerial decision making exercise in which you are presented with a number of scenarios to which you have to respond. You will also complete a series of surveys and a computer-based task.

4 credits. Males only. In this study, we are interested in how people learn new material. You will be asked to (a) complete a variety of questionnaires, (b) take a few tests designed to assess certain aspects of ability, and (c) view and provide impressions of videos and other visual materials. This study should take no more than 2 hours and you will receive 4 credits. Once you sign-up for a session, we will send you an email containing a link that will direct you to the pre-testing questionnaire to be filled out prior to your session. Please check your NCSU email account because we will send the link to that email address within one or two days. This is a study that explores how different measures of personality are related in a Web-based survey. Your participation in this study will involve completing a survey online. The duration of this study will be approximately 45 minutes, and participants will be awarded 2 points for participation.

3 credits. Students under the age of 18 are not eligible to participate in this study. The purpose of this study is to measure stress and coping in the NCSU undergraduate population. If you wish to participate in this study you must commit to two different time slots and days -- more specifically, you will be spending 45-60 minutes completing surveys on day one and then return 7 days later for 10 minutes to complete a final survey. You will receive 3 credits; credits will be issued once BOTH PARTS are completed! This study should take approximately 60 - 75 minutes to complete both parts. You will only sign up for part 1 on this website; you will sign up for part 2 in person.

6 credits. Must fill out screening survey to determine if eligible (see website link). If eligible, you will practice manipulating 3-D objects and placing them in a box using a video game. The Pretest Session will last approximately an hour and a half and earn you 1 credit. 10 days later, the Post Test Session will take approximately an hour and a half and earn you 5 more research credits. Between those two sessions you will be asked to play about one hour of a video game each day. The sessions are 10 days apart. You must be right-handed to participate. Participants must be 18-28 years old, must participate in experiment 1749 the next day, and must have no experience with blood glucometers.
Participants will be asked to complete a variety of surveys and cognitive tests, and will then be asked to perform a task with a piece of unfamiliar technology. This research is targeting adults between 18-28 years of age. The experiment will require two sessions, and should take no longer than 2.5 hours total. Students will receive 5 credits at the completion of the experiment.

4 credits. The purpose of this study is to find out some information about a new series of tests that may one day be used to hire applicants for jobs. If you choose to participate, you will complete several tests that measure important job abilities such as trainability, cognitive ability, and task-switching ability. You will also be asked to provide feedback about your feelings toward the tests. The process will take from 90-120 minutes to complete.

This study will require participation at two time points. The first time will require you to come to the lab, complete a variety of surveys about your stress and your family, as well as brief interviews. The second part of the study will require you to fill out a brief online survey. You will receive 4 credits after completing both sessions.

In this 3 credit study, you will be asked to complete several questionnaires and tests profiling your personality and computer experience. After the questionnaires, you will be role-playing a computer user and you will be asked to come back 1 week later to role-play the same computer user again. It should take no more than 1.5 hours (90 minutes) in total for you to complete this study. (This first part has shown an average of 40 minutes) You will get 1 credit for the first week and the full 3 credits when you finish study 1738 a week later (~20min). Once you have signed up, please visit the posted URL and fill out the questionnaires before you come in at the appointed time.

**THIS EXPERIMENT MUST BE COMPLETED WITH EXPERIMENT 1753** This is Experiment 1 of 2. 3 Credits total / 1 of 3 credits. 15 minutes. In this study, you will search information on websites, complete questionnaires about your computer experience and your emotion response to computers, and complete reasoning and memory tests. For this 1st part of the study, you will receive an email with a participant number and the URL access to the short online questionnaire within 24 hours after you have signed-up. Then, you will be able to sign-up for part 2 of this study (Experiment 1753), which will occur in Poe 600-B.
